This 1972 Cessna Pressurized Turbo Skymaster served its current owner well for business, and commuting all around the western US. It is IFR equipped with no ice protection systems.
The owner began aging out from flying, and the airplane was used less and less. It is now that the owner has decided it is time to sell his airplane as flying it alone is no longer in his future. The airplane was last inspected in April 2021. The airplane had been hangered on and off during this owners stewardship and was recently moved back outside.
This airplane was equipped in 2018 with spoilers and the owner says that was the best modification you could do for this airplane. The airplane has a new main gear actuator, recent cylinder work, and a replaced pressurization outflow valve along with a lot of pressurization system work.
This airplane is being offered as is where is needing an annual inspection. The last inspection being completed in April 2021.
As such we highly recommend a buyer bring their mechanics to evaluate the airplane. Because the airplane is expired on its inspection status, we cannot move the airplane to a nearby shop or airport, nor offer a test flight. We will make reasonable accommodations for a buyer and their mechanic to utilize our shop to evaluate the airplane.
Please fell free to call to discuss this aircraft. A google drive file complete with pictures, and scans of the aircraft records are available for evaluation.
We as the only repair facility at Columbia Airport and cannot perform the annual inspection or repair work on this airplane. We are not equipped to work on these types and it doesn't even fit in our hangar! It is the buyers responsibility to coordinate their own mechanics. There are no hangars currently available at Columbia.
